Get an instant, accurate estimate and schedule of materials of your customers traced plan
Intelligent tracing tools
Firstly import your plan (PDF/DWG/DXF plans are supported). Then you scale it and the measuring can begin. Using straightforward drawing tools you trace over walls, roofs, doors and windows for example, measuring and specifying construction types as you go. Every item you trace is highlighted so you can monitor what still needs doing.
Check the trace with a handy 3D model
To help you cross check you’ve got everything from the plan, a helpful 3D model generates as you go. This 3D visual ensures you’ve captured all the details of the underlying drawing. Once you’re done, simply import the file into EstimatorXpress for estimating where all the measurements and counts are priced and quantified.
Live dashboard
Once you’ve completed your tracing and imported it into EstimatorXpress, you’ll have access to a mission-control style dashboard.
We’re not talking the Starship Enterprise here, but we think the mission-control style dashboard is very clever. You can check on the status of a job - such as what customer estimates need chasing up, what quotes need finishing, what client jobs are starting soon and so on.

It's often easy to forget to factor in materials wastage, the wear and tear of a shovel, wheelbarrow or perhaps tools going walkies and this impacts your customers bottom line. Ensure they run a healthy business, by including everything in their estimate.
On board Build Program to schedule materials
EstimatorXpress software also has an integrated, onboard Build Programme which presents the build phase activity based on the estimated labour profile from your estimate.
As you make changes to your build program this cascades through the software. In this way you can produce an estimate materials ordering profile unique to this job with not only when the resources need to be on site but when they should be ordered by given the likely delivery timescales.

Integrate with your price list, web service or ERP
Exclusive to EstimatorXpress we can link you up to your Builders Merchant Web Services (e.g. your online shop or trading platform) to call latest prices or your ERP (Enterprise resource planning solution). Or if you have your prices simply on a spreadsheet we can load them to the software for you. Do note that depending on your requirements this may be subject to an additional fee agreed in advance.
Talk to us about exporting materials schedules to your IT systems
If you’d like to get really smart, you can export the materials required for the project back to your ERP so you can quote your client from your standard systems, populated with all the quantities that have been estimated as required. This reduced the need to retype everything up. A real time saver. Do note that this will be subject to an additional development fee agreed in advance.
